Fatty Acid Selections in Aluminum Complex Greases

摘要

This study explored the formation of aluminum complex greases with various fatty acids carrying C_(12) to C_(22) carbon chains. Paraffinic oil, naphthenic oil, alkyl naphthalene and polyalphaolefin (PAO) were thickened with aluminum complex thickener with six different fatty acids.
