Design of Lekir Bulk Terminal, Malaysia

摘要

This paper describes the innovative design of a new coal import terminal at a Greenfield site. These design innovations include the extensive use of precast elements and fender system incorporating steel struts which provided a more direct transfer of the berthing loads back to the raking piles in the centre of the wharf.
