摘要

The present study has demonstrated that FEM3MP is capable of capturing the main features of flow and diffusion in forest canopies. In particular, the predicted mean quantities of velocity, turbulence kinetic energy, and concentration are generally very consistent with the measured data. More studies, however, are needed to further evaluate the model and gain a better understanding of turbulent flow and diffusion in forest canopies.
