Reasoning Using Polish Commercial Companies Code Ontology

摘要

This paper presents an ontology based on the most fundamental concepts taken from Polish Commercial Companies Code (PCCC). We use the Protege ontology editor as the development tool. The entire ontology is described in the OWL DL language. In our PCCC ontology the selection of concepts and taxonomy construction are provided by the contextual meaning of the corpus as well as the implicit expert knowledge of the architects, based on relevant legal sources [1]. The legal knowledge model is fully our original contribution and is the only PCCC ontology in Poland.
