~(210)Po and ~(210)Pb concentrations in air, drinking water and human tissues in a High Level Natural Radiation Area (HLNRA) in Iran have been measured. According to this work, the main intake route of ~(210)Po and ~(210)Pb into the human body is via ingestion. Absorption of ~(210)Po into the blood from the digestive system was 30-40%. The highest concentrations of ~(210)Po and ~(210)Pb were absorbed into the skeleton and hair. The mean values in residents and control groups show that the concentrations of ~(210)Po in Ramsar residents are almost three times higher than those of the control samples.
