The principle background of Impedance Spectroscopy is the genius Fourier Transform, which enables presentation of the phenomena going on at the natural time domain via series of complex sinusoidal terms specific for the frequency domain. Thus the two dimensional time-domain space is projected into a new ― three dimensional frequency domain space.
