摘要

The computational evaluations of a duct shape influence on steady and unsteady propeller forces and moment and force on the duct, and also on the propeller cavitation beginning are obtained. The research was implemented by the computation method of the ducted propeller characteristics which had been developed by the authors previously. The method is modified to construct the free vortexes sheet corresponding to any duct shape. To evaluate the propeller cavitation diagrams an equivalent profile method was implemented. The calculation accuracy of the propulsor characteristics with various duct shapes is confirmed by comparison to experiment.
