The numerical procedure for determination of the trajectory and footprint of the underwater vehicle joined with surface vessel by support tether cable is presented in the paper. The hydrodynamic characteristics of underwater vehicle as well as hydrodynamic drag characteristics of linking cable are assumed to be known.
