摘要

This paper is concerned with a creep study of composite adhesive lap joints produced from a hi-directional woven F-glass fibres and polypropylene composite. Bond preparation conditions were tested and the corresponding static strength was obtained. Creep tests were carried out within the temperature range from 20 to 50°C. Results of the deformation and strain rate versus time are presented. Failure time temperature and stress were correlated using Manson-Haferd parameter. Failure mechanisms were observed by means the scanning microscopy technique.
