Five growth enhancement treatments were applied in 2010 to Pioneer 93M11 soybeans as seed treatments, at planting in seed furrow, or as an at-planting in seed furrow + foliar application. Data were collected on effects of treatments on various plant growth parameters and yields. All treatments were noted to result in taller plants with more main-stem trifoliate nodes from the initial sample date. Treatments containing Optimize~R 400 resulted in very robust plants, with increases of approximately 25 pods/plant compared with untreated soybeans, while treatments containing Vitazyme~R also had a significant, but lesser increase. Increased growth and pod number data had not been previously documented in University of Nebraska-Lincoln experimentation. Greatest increase was noted from treatments that contained Optimize~R 400, although this treatment by itself resulted in more main-stem trifoliate nodes than Optimize~R 400 plus the fungicides Trilex~R + Allegiance~R until mid-August. Vault~R HP treatment resulted in lowest height to main-stem trifoliate node ratio in August samples. No statistical differences were noted for yields or final pod set, thought due to low soil fertility levels.
