The Zakai filtering is applied for tracking of nonlinear time-varying parameters on a physical model describing typical electrodeposition process that is fixed on the bulk solution boundary of diffusion layer and is observed-controlled on the electrode surface. The applied boundary control depends on the unknown drifting parameters in a severely nonlinear relationship. A computational algorithm is proposed for drifting parameters estimation based on the factorized Zakai filter. The consistency of estimates is analyzed in simulation on the diffusion type model developed for the copper electrodeposition process.
