Sensing of H_2O_2 is important in several fields including biochemistry and environmental chemistry. Often a significantly low level of H_2O_2 should be detected since, e.g., submicromolar H_2O can damage mammalian cells. Further, a sensitive H_2O_2 sensor is useful by coupled with H_2O_2-generating oxidases.
