Web-based knowledge acquisition and diagnostic aid in a medical imaging domain

摘要

This paper introduces a system for knowledge acquisition and diagnostic aid which operates over the Internet. The domain is high-resolution CT scans of the lungs. Expert input is captured by a client-aide application and communicated to a server where it facilitates learning by a server-side agent to distinguish between tissue patterns.
