Search-for-service strategy and integration of LAN into web operating system

The idea of Large distributed operating systems, able to control internet (WAN-OS or Web-OS) is becoming important and widely discussed. Uncomplete information on location of resources in internet along with high communication expenses demand different approaches for developing Local network Operating Systems (LAN-OS) and internet-scale Operating Systems (Web-OS). This paper proposes a means for building Web-OS on the top of LAN-OS. We are discussing interfacing and integration LAN-OS into Web-OS and implementing the result as Search-for-service daemon, running on a LAN's gateway to internet. Algorithm, implemented in Search daemon, is proved to be optimal (it minimizes internet load and adapts itself to changeable internet topology and location of resources). Paper covers both theoretical base and technical details of integration LAN-OS into Web-OS.
