摘要

The aim of the work described in this paper is to enable an informed decision to be made on the configuration of a roll-control suspension system. The basis of the study is a roll plane model created in the Autosim/Matlab/Simulink environment. Five different suspension configurations (two passive and three active) are compared using criteria that include ride discomfort, dynamic tyre force, rollover threshold and energy consumption. Clear differences in the performance of the suspension configurations are revealed, and guidelines for the selection of a configuration are given.
