GOLEM - Computer simulator of body fluids and acid-base disorders as an efficient teleeducation tool

Our aim was to enable students to try out solving of individual critical situations out of reality on simulator. Two interrelated aims have been solved during the development of "GOLEM", the simulator of physiological functions - the generation of a simulation model, which is the essential concept of the simulator and the simulator itself. For each of these goals different developer's tools are being adequate. GOLEM is going to be a very useful teaching device to help understanding the basic rules of physiological regulations and the manifestations of their disorders in pathogenesis of different pathological conditions.
