ATON-Thruster Plasma Accelerator

摘要

The concept of a second generation Hall-current plasma accelerator (ATON-thruster), which has record performance characteristics, is described. A method is proposed for analyzing the operation parameters of the accelerator on the basis of its performnace characteristics. The results of measurements of plasma parameters in the accelerator channel and outlflowing jet are presented. Influence of back moving of particles from vacuum chamber to thruster one has been discussed.
