The relatively low work function and poor compatibility with hole injection layer (HIL) remain big challenges for the practical use of graphene film as transparent conductive electrode (TCE) in optoelectronic devices. Graphene oxide (GO) has been reported to be a work function modifier and have good hydrophilicity. However, GO is difficult to be coated on the top of graphene TCE by solution method due to hydrophobic nature of graphene. Graphene TCE has been widely reported as anode of green organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) with high efficiency. While the red, blue and white OLED are less investigated and the efficiency need to be markedly improved.
