CONVERSION OF WET BOOTHS INTO DRV BOOTHS

Trends in the entire industry segment, from the application process to the production of process materials, all commonly have to deal with filtration issues. With environmental issues as well as dealing with permits, worker exposure, waste and containment, Herding reviewed a number of case histories where Herding's unique media has been used to solve a multitude of these issues by either retrofitting clients existing plants or integrating the media into new booth and collection designs to address the issues. The porcelain industry, like other processing industries have also been challenged to reduce the large costs associated with energy and chemical or water usage. Trending towards the use of improved dry filtration solutions rather than expensive scrubber and wet booth technology, Herding's media can handle a wide range of collected streams at various load levels, and still fulfill an industry best clean exhaust emission result between 0.00004 and 0 .0004 grains/cubic foot.
