To understand the forming limits of aerospace grade lightweight materials under warm forming conditions, two aluminum alloys (AI2024 and 7075) were tested under warm biaxial loading conditions. In the first phase of this study, sheet blanks of 150 x 150 mm were hydraulically bulged bi-axially without a counter die or restriction at two different strain rates, 0.0013 and 0.013s~(-1), and four different temperature levels, 25, 100, 200, and 300°C. Based on these tests, flow curves were obtained for different test conditions to reveal the effect and significance of temperature and strain rate on the forming of aluminum sheets.
