Post-Weaning Multi-systemic Wasting Syndrome (PMWS) is a novel disease which may be associated with Porcine Circovirus type II (PVC). PMWS is currently confirmed in many American states and in most of the Canadian provinces, as well as parts of Europe, but little is known of the disease.
