Palisades Nuclear Power Plant had two of its already tested surveillance capsules used for an annealing recovery study. Previously tested weld metal Charpy specimen halves from Capsules W-290 and W-110, irradiated to fluences of 0.92 × 10~(19) and 1.59 × 10~(19)n/cm~2, respectively, were annealed, weld reconstituted, and tested for annealing recovery evaluation. Transverse plate Charpy halves from Capsule W-290 were also annealed, reconstituted, and tested. The weld material results from Capsule W-290 and W-110 showed measured transition temperature (TT) recoveries of 74% and 77% and upper,shelf energy (USE) recoveries of 61% and 65%, respectively. The transverse plate material results from Capsule W-290 showed a TT recovery of 82% and an USE recovery of 11%. These results are discussed in the following paper.
