Thin Ba_2LnBiO_6 (Ln = Ce, Pr, Nd) films with a perovskite structure were deposited on polycrystalline Al_2O_3 substrates, by a spray-pyrolysis technique. They were studied by SEM, XRD and electrical conductivity measurements, in wet and dry air. It was found that the type of rare-earth element determines the morphology and conductivity of the films. The specimens showed two types of conductivity, semiconducting in dry air and proton in wet air, with different activation energies.
