Definition of the co-operation between objects

Current tools for programming do not make the construction of cooperative applications easier. To facilitate the construction of this kind of applications we should initially provide tools to make each object of the application attached to roles and to express their collaboration. In this paper we shall present a solution for the role definitions which also allow the expression of the collaboration between objects. This solution is given by a programming paradigm named Service Group. To describe a Service Group, we provides a Group Interface Description Language (GIDL) which allows simple constructions to coordinate roles. Coordination is carried out thanks to the use of sequential and parallel composition operators.
