Experimental determination of dynamic disturbance of diesel engine structure

In ternal combustion engine represents a multi-exciting source of vibration and noise originated by the assemblies and accessories, by whose operation the energy is transformed into sound wave energy. The energy absorbed in the structure excites (natural) modal oscillations of larger engine parts (cyl.block, oil sump, cyl.head, etc.), through whose surface the sound is radiated.
