Microbe-fiber, is mycelium came from the microbe cultured in liquid medium or solid medium. The main composition of it is polysaccharide, consisting chitin and cellulose. We have obtained several fiber-like strains. We treated these strains by means of physical and chemical inducement, then screened by changing the component of the culture medium. We selected those which grew faster, whose diameter were longer and whose strength were stronger, and then compared the chemical structure, composition and function of the fungal mycelia of these selected strains to try to find whether these three factors have relativity.
