Educational Technology in East and West: Experiences and Perspectives of Cooperation

摘要

This paper focuses on issues in relation to cross-cultural cooperation in the field of educational technology. First, a brief review is made in respect to academic cooperation carried out between University of Twente and East China Normal University in past 12 years, which is taken as a sample of cross-cultural cooperation between East and West. Secondarily, two perspectives are introduced for the development of insights into the nature of cross-cultural cooperation in the field of educational technology. Finally, a plan for further cooperation between the two universities is introduced as a result of previous experiences and increasing understanding of cross-cultural aspects.
