. Relaxing retinotomies: visual resultsand macular findings

Relaxing retinotomies are sometimes necessary in the treatment of complicated cases of retinal detachment. Our purpose was to study the poor visual outcome in eyes treated with vitrectomy and relaxing retinotomy, in association with the postoperative macular findings.
