Surface Reconstruction of Digitized Objects and Data Implementation into solid models-A time saving procedure for the rapid product development process

摘要

This paper describes how the integration of new computer based technologies support the systematic engineering design process. THe research activities shows that three-dimensional digitizing, the following surface reconstruction as well as the integration of the generated surface descriptions into CAD-models(solid models) offer a number of advantages. The understanding of the technology and an optimum arrnagement of the single components are conditions for their usage as tools for simultaneours engineering.
