MORE RESULTS ON SOFT PHOTON PRODUCTION FROM THE e+e- PAIRS IN *-p INTERACTIONS AT 280 GeV/c

More results from WA83/SOPHIE experiment, based on the reconstructed e+e~ pairs inside the OMEGA spectrometer, are presented. The analysed sample shows a similar excess over the simulated hadronic decays and the hadronic bremsstrahlung as the photons measured by the PLUG forward electromagnetic calorimeter inside a cone of 20 mrad half angle around the beam direction. The signal has low Pt < 40 MeV/c and Ycms > 1. These observations agree with the results of WA27 and NA22 experiments which have overlapping kinematic regions ( Ycms > 0) but not with HELIOS recent results with photons measured at Ycms < 0.
