摘要

The main objetive of this paper is to optimize a wastewater treatment line in a colorant synthesis factory. First and after several analysis, the spillage of the factory was characterized. The spillage presented strong coloration, high values of C.O.D. and T.O.C. A good oxidant of this wastewater was looked for, and after several studies the ozone was found as the most efficient oxidant.The following treatment with Ca(0H)_2 leads to almost the total elimination of the remaining compounds in the ozone treatment, even the by-products formed . C.O.D. and T.O.C. are reduced after total treatment. The conductivity increased due to mineralization of heterogroups, after ozonation The combined treatment reduce the economical cost.
