The Central region of Benin is a hilly area extending in latitude between 7'3O' and 8°30' N, and in longitude rrorn 2° to 2°3O' E. It covers the territorial subdivisions or Dassa-Zoume, i-oua, Savalou, Ean:>i, Save and Quessi, with about 339,000 innabitants. Our paper deals with only two subdivisions, Dassa-Zourne and Glazoue. The population constituted with Idatcf.a, Itcha, Tchabe and some Fan, Mina and Bariba... is assentally rural.
