摘要

Monitoring and documenting the flow quality of the test facilities at AEDC is a continuous process. Both dynamic and steady-state measurements are made periodically as a "health" check on the test facility flow quality. OVer a period of years, measurements of fluctuations in the free-stream flow in the test sections of AEDC Supersonic and Hypersonic Tunnels A and B have been made, using constant-current hot-wire anemometer techniques. The results for Mach numbers 4 and 5 in Tunnel A and 6 and 8 in Tunnel B cover the available range of unit Reynolds number.
