In the aspect of photographing traffic flows, this study solves the problem of non-vertical angle photos by calibrating the Bleyl's coordinate transfer formulas with multiple points. In vehicle recognition, the 'twice histogram method" has beendeveloped to obtain the traffic image background from which the passing of vehicles is identified. Another development on vehicle detection is the 1'vehicle-path pseudo line-detector", also called 1'line and curve detector", for analyzing the time-spacing of vehicular flows in different lane/road situations. The entire length of the detector with vehicles present is the object in detection, not individual vehicles. The traffic parameters thus obtained are the time-space diagram every one-thirtieth secondand the vehicular flow shock waves at signalized intersections, from which many others can be derived. It is suitable for analyzing varieties of straight and turning paths of traffic flows.
