The Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) method of spraying fine liquid droplets from a liquid state, by mrens of a intense electric field in a vacuum environ-ment, was developed and used to produce metal powders with micron size. The secondary droplets separation is a important question in the EHD process which is caused by the electrostatic induction. The interacsion of the electrostatic force (F) with surface tension (T) results in a highly dynamic process on the induced droplet. When F>T, the metal droplet will be separated. The critical size of the secondary droplets (Rc) is inversely proportional to square V. Appropriate readjustment V can control the metal particles size.
