Exploring Consumer Perception of Oil and Gas Retail Business to Ensure Service Sustainable Development

Retail business within the oil and gas industry has ended up exceptionally competitive in later a long time since of the changing scenes of both the retail industry as well as the fuel stations segment. Taken a toll of supply, shopper behavior, expanded competition, debilitated boundaries between diverse segments, a trade client request for cost-effective arrangements, and exchange costs have all influenced the industry climate encompassing fuel stations. This study aims, therefore, to explore the fuel stations' market in Bahrain to understand the customers' attitudes and behaviors toward the environment of the fuel stations given services in addition to any other ancillary services that would-be augmented to capitalize the total investment of businesses in this field. The scope of work thus was to survey, qualitatively and quantitatively, a range of the fuel stations' customers in Bahrain on the sites of the various stations to explore their motives, perceptions, and preferences of the stations provided services. The study also aimed to provide meaningful recommendations and managerial implications to the Oil & Gas retail businesses to help to build sustainable marketing and profit maximization strategy. The findings of the study have shown that the fuel stations' market in Bahrain implies unprecedented expansion potential and business opportunities leading to profit maximization if business practitioners undertake rigorous arrangements for sustainable planning, management, and marketing.
