1. High Brightness with Good reflectance deposits are being achieved with high GAM values being maintained after thermal aging. Both High Cyanide and Low Cyanide 2. The wider Current Density windows and Faster Plating Rates are being achieved with the low cyanide systems compared to conventional cyanide process. 3. Good anti tarnish products are also being further developed in order to maintain the surface finish during production. 4. Clearly legislation is not going to be relaxed anywhere, anytime regarding the use of hazardous processes. Therefore work continues on NON CYANIDE silver plating systems in order achieve the plating rates and deposit appearance as compared to the two cyanide systems.
