Recently, terahertz (THz) technology draws much attention and interest because they are essential parts of many potential applications in the sub-millimeter range. The paper proposes the time domain analysis of nano antennas for terahertz application. Nano antennas in terahertz application is a very challenging field, which has gained a lot of attention in the last decade. The nano dipole antenna operating at 0.5THz is proposed for the analysis, and the FDTD code has been developed and simulated using Matlab. The Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method is used because it has the ability to extract wideband responses from a single simulation. This method is suitable for finding the approximate electric and magnetic field in a complex three dimensional structure in the time domain.
