From Positive- to Negative-Index Materials: Transitional Phenomena

摘要

We investigate light propagation through a transition layer between the positive- and negative-index materials with linearly changing material parameters. Strong enhancement of TE- and TM-wave components near the point of zero refractive index is predicted.
