Mapping of Field Capacity and Wilting Coefficient in China for Drought Monitoring

摘要

Field capacity and wilting coefficient are two soil water constants, which reflect soil water and soil characteristic, no literature hitherto has the two unified data covering China. This paper collected available data, the 1:4 million scale soil map of China and 1:14 million scale soil texture of China, and defined the two soil constants of three thousand plots which divided on the soil type, then make the field capacity map and the wilting coefficient map using kriging interpolation.
