Cross-institutional curricular collaborations are complex human affairs, and often include instances of misunderstanding and confusion. This work-in-progress paper introduces the concept of curricular culture literacy and employs it as a way of making sense of these "miscodes." Unpacking these incidents via the lens of curricular culture literacy allow s them to be understood and addressed as collisions between tw o different curricular cultures, which opens up new possibilities for multi(curricular)cultural literacy.
