摘要

Thoroughfare of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is designed as an underground tunnel transport hub to meet the increasing traffic challenge in Chu Chiang Delta, where consists of Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao cities. Underground tunnel was considered as the only alternative due to the area condition, limited environment disturbing and complex geographical conditions, and pipe ring was taken into account as proposals supporting underground excavation in this project. This paper will introduce the construction requirement and then focus on two pipe jacking design proposals. Advantages and disadvantages of these proposals will be discussed by comparing different technical parameters.
