POSITION COMPENSATING FIXING METHOD OF HALF-ARCH FOR CONSTITUTING ARCH RING IN ARCH BRIDGE

PURPOSE: To enable a minute adjustment at the time of connecting arches by erecting a semi-arch part on a supporting bearing of a rotation bearing for fixing a semi-arch-part to an arch-abutment, and by providing an expandable flat jack between the supporting bearing and the upper shoe. CONSTITUTION: The lower shoe 2 of a rotation bearing 1 is fixed to an arch- abutment 3 for fixing and holding the arch 8 of an arch bridge. On the other hand, a jack housing flat chamber is provided between the upper shoe 4 of a rotation bearing 1 and a supporting bearing 5 placed on the upper thereof for housing an expandable flat jack. After the half part 8 of the arch part is successively constructed on the supporting bearing 5, a semi-arch part is loweringly turned making a center of the rotation bearing to be connected to the semi-arch 8 on the opposite side. The difference at the time of connection is corrected by the expansion of the flat jack. Then, the distance between the base end of the semi-arch part 8 and the arch-abutment 3 is fixed by concrete. Thus, the positional correction can be easily carried out.
