The studies about English learning strategies in China and abroad have demonstrated that age factor have direct or indirect influences on the choice and use of learning strategies, and these influences may finally affect learners' academic achievement in students' autonomy learning. This paper recalls connotation of English learning strategies, summarizes its related theories, and mainly validates influences of the age factor on the choice and use of learning strategies in autonomy learning. It suggests that English learners themselves should choose and use appropriate learning strategies according to their own needs and learning levels in autonomy learning processes.
