摘要

A study was taken with the following objectives: a) To test the reliability (test- retest) of selected qualitative biomechanical variables related to motor task evaluation, b) To test the objectivity of selected variables related to motor task evaluation. c) To test the expert wise internal consistency among collective scores (sum of five techniques) and the scores of five motor task /techniques independently namely technique one, two, three, four and five. d) To test the objectivity of motor task evaluation score for five techniques collectively as evaluated by number of experts under identical testing conditions. The 40 male Judo players, age ranging from 19 to 25 years of National Capital territory, Government of Delhi, INDIA were selected as subject. Variables were: Kumikata, Kujushi, Tsukuri, Kake, Control, Movement Rhythm, Movement Coupling, Movement Flow, Movement Amplitude, Movement Precision, Velocity, Power, Largely on back. Each Judo player (subject) were asked to perform his best five major techniques in order, namely T_1 (first best), T_2 (second best), T_3 (third best), T_4 (fourth best) and T_5 (fifth best) for five to ten times of each technique (to the satisfaction of experts) by adopting four dimensions i.e., right, left, front and back. Four experts evaluated with 1, 2 and 3 score (1 = Below Average; 2 = Average; and 3 = above average) to each independent variables. The sum total of the scores awarded to each independent variable was the score of each technique (JSES). The sum total of the score of five techniques/ motor task evaluation score for combined JSES or motor skill evaluation score (MTES). Findings documented extremely high and significant reliability and objectivity coefficients. It was concluded that there was high Reliability and Objectivity of Qualitative Biomechanical Evaluation of Motor Task (Judo Skill).
