摘要

Our data suggests that the surface exposure to disturbed flow in older carotid bifurcations can be reasonably captured using an allometri-cally-scaled young adult waveform. Further improvements may be achieved by defining a canonical waveform shape more appropriate to older adults, potentially obviating the need for individual flow waveform measurements.
