@@Recently, a novel class of organic/inorganic hybrid material based on polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) has been developed.The incorporation of POSS into some polymers have led to the enhancement in physical properties such as thermal and mechanical stability,flammability,oxidative resistance,and low dielectric constant.A hybrid resin was synthesized from octakis(dimethylsiloxy)octasilsesquoixanes(Q8M8H) and diethynylbenzene(DEB) by the hydrosilylation reaction. The structure and properties of the hybrid resin were characterized.
