摘要

The theory of generalized thermo elasticity with one relaxation time, is used to solve a problem of an infinite hollow cylinder subjected to thermal shock. By means of a series of integral transform, an analytical method is presented for gaining the transient temperature field,displacement and thermodynamic stress. Several results of the histories and distributions of the thermodynamic stress in a hollow cylinder are presented and discussed.
