Flame Detection and Temperature Measurement System for Cement Rotary Kiln

摘要

Rotary kiln is one of the primary equipments for cement and alumina production, in which the kiln-head working conditions especially the temperature distribution of calcining zone plays the mostly important role for qualitative producing. Based on the principle of the digital image processing, advanced optics, computer technology and the thermal radiation of the firing flames, the clinker materials and the scattering media, a computer system of the flame detection and temperature measurement for cement rotary Kiln is developed and applied in a cement factory successfully. Successful application shows the wide prospect of using CCD technology and digital image processing method for high temperature measurement and flame detection in industry and scientific research.
