Rotary shaft cement burning kiln - with two different flame jet length fuel oil burners

Fuel oil heated horizontal revolving shaft kiln with a heat resistant shaft lining is fitted with two burners at the outlet end. One of these emits a long flame extending over at least a third of the shaft length whilst the other emits a tulip configurated ring shaped very much shorter flame jet. Pref. steplessly controllable impulse burners arranged side by side on a common trolley are employed. The two burners ensure sufficient heat at the furnace exit zone to prevent a ring-shaped build-up on the kiln lining near the kiln outlet.
